After serving for four years as FC Boulder’s Executive Director, Jeff has changed his focus to building and facilitating the Club’s Soccer Education Program in addition to serving as the Club Director of Coaching for the U15-U18 Girls.
Prior to arriving at FC Boulder, Jeff spent 22 years in the field of Education, most recently as a Professor in the School of Education at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In addition to the roles outlined above, Jeff will continue his work as in developing community partnerships and raising funds for FC Boulder programming.
With three of his own children in the Club over the years, Jeff has been fortunate to follow them throughout every phase of the FC Boulder program, coaching them in the Developmental Academy, as well as coaching teams across every age group in the U11-18 competitive spectrum. Prior to his time in Boulder, Jeff had been involved in both club and high school soccer across the country, with coaching stops in Washington, Wisconsin, Virginia, and Oregon. He has earned his USSF “A” License and his Premier Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Jeff received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA. He received his Ph.D. degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
