The Juniors Program was established in fall 2015 as an introduction to competitive soccer for U9 and U10 players.
Juniors teams play in the Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) Intermediate and Recreational League with games on Saturdays. Travel to away games is required in order to compete against other clubs in the league. Teams will practice twice per week with an optional third day of practice each week. Games are played on Saturdays during the fall and spring seasons.
Juniors players will receive advanced training from the FC Boulder professional coaching staff. Training sessions will be designed by the club’s Directors of Coaching and will be geared toward maximizing each player’s technical ability while challenging the players to perform those techniques under the conditions of game situations.
In order to create the most appropriate training environments, Juniors players are placed on teams with players of similar abilities through player placement events.
FC Boulder’s Juniors program is directed by Luis Swisher. Luis brings a wealth of international playing experience with him to Boulder and has worked extensively with young players across the United States.
