In August, 2015, the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) announced new Player Development Initiatives that will impact all levels of youth soccer programming in our country (official press release).
Many of these initiatives are aligned with the progressive thinking that we have had at FC Boulder for many years including small-sided games through the U12 age group, an increased focus on player development, the de-emphasis of winning at the youngest age groups and more.
With change comes challenges and situations that will be new to our club and to clubs throughout the country. This page has been built as a reference tool to help explain and outline the changes coming in fall 2016 and how FC Boulder plans to incorporate these changes into our programming. We will continue to update this space at more information becomes available.
FC Boulder is fully committed to providing the most developmentally appropriate soccer programming for every player in our organization.
