Billy Beaman joined the FC Boulder coaching staff in February of 2019, coming to the club from F.C. Brighton, in Brighton Colorado, where he worked as the Executive Director for the club since 2016. During his tenure he over saw the revamping of the club and a revitalization of its image and internal organization.

Billy is the current United States Youth Futsal (USYF) State Director for the USYF ID Program and is a member of the USYF National ID Coaching staff. Through his futsal programming, academy trainings, and teams Billy has had the opportunity to work with several players select as USYF National Team players, who traveled to Canada, Columbia, and Portugal for international competition. In winter of 2017-18 his Northern Colorado Futsal Academy 07 Boys, won the Regis Winter Classic DA 06 Boys Futsal Tournament, and finished as semi-finalist in the 2018 USYF National Futsal Tournament.

A native of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Billy grew up in the “Twin-Cities” and played for Minneapolis based club Keliix Intra SC, and as a U19 player won the MYSA State Cup. He played for Saint Mary’s University of Winona (D3), and Dakota County Technical College (NJCAA D1) where he received honors in 2005 as a All-Region Second Team player. Billy started his coaching career in while still playing in High School working with his club Keliix Intra as an Off-season programming coach starting in 2001, taking on Head Coaching roles 2007-2010. After moving out to Colorado, Billy worked from 2012-2016 as a Staff Coach for Colorado Storm Fort Collins, and as a Program Director for Core Soccer Academy, before taking the role at F.C. Brighton.

Billy has earned his United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma, United Soccer Coaches DOC Diploma, USSF “D” License candidate, United Soccer Coaches Futsal Level 1 Diploma, and United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 1 Diploma.

He and his wife Alixandra, and their fur babies Cooper and Marli, currently reside in Fort Collins.
