Welcome to the 2019 Summer Soccer Camps! We are excited to host these awesome events to keep players playing and enjoying the game this summer! We will host a variety of camps through FC Boulder, YMCA of Boulder Valley, and Boulder Valley Youth Soccer. Check back often to see news and camp updates!

Camp Cancellation / Refund Policy Refunds and prorated fees will not be granted after 1 week prior to the start of camp as camp staff is hired based on the numbers of registered campers. Due to inclement weather, vouchers for future camps may be granted at the discretion of the camp director.

PERFORMANCE & SKILLS PROGRAM

The Performance Package:

Each 1.5 hour session will be broken up into two 45 minute parts.

45 minutes of Strength training of the total body, specifically tailored to the soccer player. This training will address mobility and stability, working on technique and proper functional movement first, then progressively loading the system with resistance implements, exposing players to advanced equipment in our 1200 square foot Athletic Performance gym space. The program will be properly overseen by our professional staff.

45 minutes will address Speed, Agility and Quickness training, addressing gate mechanics, linear speed, lateral speed, and dynamic speed development. During this time players will also work on technical ball skill development, working on progressions that address technical ball manipulation, skill moves to penetrate past opponents and skill moves to escape pressure, passing and receiving techniques, ball striking and finishing.

Build Movement Screen- testing battery for analysis of individual’s movement patterns and mechanics used for injury prevention and identification of individual needs that can then be used to create a more individualized program for these athletes
