Fields Brown joined FC Boulder in July 2017 after spending the last two years at Arsenal Colorado where he served as the Girls’ Director of Coaching. Prior to arriving in Colorado, he was the Director of Coaching for the Knoxville Football Club in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Originally from North Carolina, Fields brings club level experience in addition to working at the collegiate level with Wofford College, Georgia State University, and the University of Tennessee. Additionally, Brown has semi-professional coaching experience from his time as Associate Head Coach for the Georgia Revolution (NPSL) and the Head Coach for the Knoxville Lady Force (WPSL). Fields is the current 2005 Colorado ODP Head Coach, as well as the Assistant Coach for the West Region ODP team. 

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor’s degree in History in 2005, Fields earned his Master’s of Arts in Teaching from Converse College in 2009. He played for Pfeiffer University and Cape Fear Community College before finishing his degree at UNCW. He has  a United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA) Premier Diploma and Director of Coaching Diploma and the USSF National “B” License.

Fields and his wife Kelly live in Erie along with their son Aiden and their dog Kaya. Outside of soccer, Fields enjoys playing music, hiking and is taking up golf.
